What kind of products are sold on thestylecollection.com (the “Website”)?
We offer a hand-picked selection of unique products of high quality ranging from clothing, jewellery, accessories, fashion, kids and home decor on our website from emerging designers as well as from our retail partners. All of them have been selected because they offer the highest standards of quality and customer service. We love unique items that are made to last and made with love.
How does it work?
We connect the designers that sell via us and our retail partners with you. You can buy products from all of our designers via one secure checkout or alternatively buy items at our retail partners' respective websites. When an order is placed on our Website, the customer is buying goods directly from the Seller. We will send you an order notification e-mail with further details, the Website merely enables the transaction between you and our sellers or retail partners. We process each customer's payment in our secure online checkout. We also offer the customer a single-point of contact, so they can speak to us about any questions they might have about the product they ordered, and to organise returns. The Style Collection handles the payment and acts as an intermediary between yourself and the designer.
You do not need to register or have an account to buy products from our Sellers on our Website. However we do recommend you create an account in order to track your orders and be able to use all the features (such as adding items to your own collection) on our Website to the maximum extent possible.
How can I pay and is this secure ?
You can pay using a variety of payment methods including but not limited to credit and debit cards, your PayPal account and for Dutch customers we offer payment by "iDeal" (payment via their local bank. Our payment services providers comply with security regulations and offer a secure environment to pay for your products. We do not store or see any of your credit card data or payment details as this is all handled by Paypal or if you pay using iDeal your local bank.
What currencies can thestylecollection.com handle?
Our prices are displayed in US Dollar (USD), UK Pound Sterling (GBP) and Euro (EUR) but you will pay in UK Pound Sterling (you will see the currency conversion which is done by your credit card or payment card handler). And just to make shopping really easy, you can choose your preferred currency from the list in the top right corner of the page and all prices will be displayed in that currency.
Who handles Customer Service?
We handle customer service directly and if necessary will include the respective retail partner or designer. Customers can contact us via email telephone or in writing. If the customer has a product query that we cannot answer, we will put them in touch with the Seller directly.
What is the delivery policy at TheStyleCollection.com?
As we are an online marketplace connecting buyers with sellers, we are not directly involved with the shipment of goods purchased on our website. Each seller has his or her own specific delivery methods, price and timeframe for delivery which is clearly visible in the deliver and returns section of the product page. Before adding an item to your shopping bag, please check that the Seller does ship to your country. The majority of our Sellers does ship worldwide. We cannot estimate any local import duties, taxes or other costs related to the delivery or returns of the item to your country, if you require more information you can request this from the Seller you are buying from.
What is the returns policy at TheStyleCollection.com?
As indicated each Seller has his or her own delivery and returns policy which can be viewed on the dedicated designers’ page as well as the relevant product pages. All our designers offer at least a refund or exchange within 7 days of receipt of the item. The item should be unused, unworn and in its original saleable condition. If you wish to cancel a transaction, please contact us. If the item has not yet been shipped we will offer a refund, if the item has been shipped to you and received please request a 'Return Authorization Number' ('RAN') and send the product back to the relevant Seller by following the instructions you receive from us.
How do I change my email address or other details?
First login in to your account via the login button at the top right hand corner of your screen, visit My Account>Settings where you can change your account details.
How do I change my password?
To change your password go to: >My Account and then Settings and an option to change your Password will be available. If you cannot login, you must reset your password from the login page by clicking on 'Forgot my password or username'. In case you have lost your password you should request a new one by providing your username. If you have forgotten You will receive an email from us with a temporary login and then you can change your password to something more memorable from the account info section of the Website.
How do I search for items on The Style Collection.com?
There are a number of ways you can search for an item until you find exactly what you're looking for. You can browse through the categories at the top of the page and then refine what you are looking for by clicking on each section in the drop down menu. You can then refine even further by using the left hand navigation on the category pages to find exactly what you want.
You can perform a search by location, brand and price. You can also just type in the name of a product or generic description into our search box at the top right of the Website and we will find you everything related to your specific search.
Once you have found a product you'd like to purchase click 'add to shopping bag', and when you're done shopping, follow the on screen instructions to fill in your payment and delivery details.
